FRFR cabinets

{:en}

When you want to hear the true sound of your profiling or modeling gear on stage or at your bands rehearsal, you have several choices.

  • You could use a traditional cabinet. This is fine, but a traditional cabinet acts like a giant EQ. It will shape the sound in a certain way. If you got a profile running which has been taken off a JENSEN speaker, for example, the JENSEN sound will not come through your Celestion Vintage 30 cabinet.
  • You can use in-ear. Yeah….but this is not for everybody.
  • You could use some kind of plastic stage monitor. While this might work, stage monitors are not known to be very “flat” or true to the sound. What if we would have a speaker cabinet that looks good as a traditional cabinet does AND amplifies your sound transparent and linear ?

This is exactly what Marco form “BlueAmps” has thought a long time ago, so he decided to design cabinets like that. He started to experiment in 2008 and developed many sorts of cabinets. Smaller FRFR cabinets, bigger cabinets, mono FRFR cabinets and stereo cabinets. It is fair to say that he has become a real expert on it.

Now you have the choice to pick your cabinet that will fit your needs best.

All of our cabinets are available as passive speaker FRFR cabinets or in active versions, with up to 300W rms clean music power.
